Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Noto Scribe (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. The Service

Noto Scribe lets you record audio, generate transcripts and AI-assisted notes, and search across your conversations. We provide the Service on the web and through native applications for iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to create an account. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Your account

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@metamultiples.in if you suspect unauthorized use.

5. Recording-consent obligation

You acknowledge that the laws governing the recording of conversations vary by jurisdiction. You warrant that, before using the Service to record, you have the legal authority and any consent required from every other party to the conversation. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of recordings you make that violate applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Record, upload, or transmit content that infringes intellectual property rights, violates privacy laws, or is otherwise unlawful
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disrupt the Service or probe it for vulnerabilities outside of an authorized program
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm any person, or to send spam or malware
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission

7. Your content

You retain all rights to the recordings, transcripts, notes, and other content you create or upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, revocable license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you.

We do not use Your Content to train foundation models or any general-purpose machine-learning systems.

8. Subscriptions and billing

Some features may require a paid subscription. If you purchase a paid plan, the price, billing period, and renewal terms will be presented before you complete the purchase. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed and managed by those stores under their own terms; you can manage or cancel them in your device settings.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion through our data deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates legal or operational risk for us or other users.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that transcripts or AI-generated notes will be accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. You should review and verify any output before relying on it for important decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Noto Scribe and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or (b) US$50.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware to resolve any dispute that is not subject to arbitration. (If you are a consumer in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer-protection laws, those laws will apply to the extent they override this section.)

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you by email or in-app notice and update the “Effective” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
