Pricing

Noto Scribe is prepaid. There is no subscription on the web, no recurring charge, and no auto-renewal: you buy recording time once, and it is yours until you use it.

Every account starts with 10 hours free

New accounts receive 10 hours of recording time at no cost, automatically, with no card required. You can record, transcribe, and generate notes with that time before deciding whether to buy anything. We would rather you find out the product suits you first.

Recording credit packs

Prices are in Indian Rupees and are exclusive of GST. Indian customers are charged 18% GST on top, shown below as the total actually billed to your card:

Larger packs include bonus recording time, so the effective rate per hour falls as the pack size grows. The recording time shown is exactly what is added to your balance.

What one credit buys

Credits are measured in recording time — seconds of audio recorded or uploaded. Transcription, AI-generated notes, search, and everything else built on a recording are included; you are not charged separately for them. Playing back, editing, exporting, or deleting a recording you already made costs nothing.

Credits never expire

Purchased recording time has no expiry date. It does not reset monthly, it is not use-it-or-lose-it, and it remains on your account for as long as your account exists. If you stop using Noto Scribe for a year and come back, your balance will be exactly where you left it.

Where you can pay

Payments on the web are processed by Razorpay, and are currently available to customers in India only, in Indian Rupees. We are working on international payments; until they are available, the purchase option is disabled outside India rather than charging you in a currency you did not choose.

Subscriptions purchased inside our iPhone or Android apps are billed and managed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own terms and pricing, and are separate from the prepaid credits described here.

Taxes

For customers in India, 18% GST is added to the listed price and collected on the government’s behalf. It is shown separately at checkout and on your receipt, and it is not revenue to us.

Changes to pricing

We may change pack prices or the recording time they include. Any change applies only to purchases made after it takes effect — credits you have already bought are never revalued. The time granted by a past purchase is fixed at the moment of that purchase and cannot be reduced by a later price change.
